Coronavirus update – 1st of April 2020

As Corendon Hotels & Resorts, since the day we were founded, our highest priority has been to give our guests a safe and pleasant stay. We always put the safety and well-being of our guests and employees first, under all circumstances. That is why we would like to inform you about the measures we have taken against the new type of coronavirus (COVID-19), that has raised concern all around the world.

As you all may have noticed, the Dutch government decided to close all of the restaurants, bars, gyms, etc. on Sunday 15 March from 18.00 h, to prevent the spread of Coronavirus. This means that we also have to close our restaurants, spa and sportfacilities. Apart from the A La Carte Restaurant (in Corendon Village Hotel) guests are welcome for breakfast, lunch and dinner from 06.30 till 21.00 h. A breakfast menu as take-away will be ready for those guests who booked their stay including breakfast. Guests who booked their stay without breakfast can also order breakfast menu either in the A la Carte Restaurant or as a take-away breakfast box (priced at €15,00.-).

Our lobby shop, Bazar is also open daily between 07:00 and 23:00 and offer a variety of snacks, salads, fresh juices and soft drinks in addition to select beers and wines.

Update 20th of March
Because of the coronavirus, more and more (European) countries have decided to close their borders. Guests are forced to cancel their trip and stay at home. This means that our hotel occupancy rates in Corendon Village Hotel, Corendon City Hotel and The College Hotel have sharply declined. In order to come up with an appropriate solution, we decided to temporarily close Corendon City Hotel and The College Hotel until we can work under normal circumstances again. Hotel guests who have booked a stay in one of these hotels will be moved to the Corendon Village Hotel. More information about the booking will follow from the hotel and / or the travel agent.

Update 23rd of March
Hotel guests who have booked a stay in Marble Stella Maris before or on 1st of June will receive a voucher for their next holiday. More information about the booking will follow from the hotel and / or the travel agent.

As much as it hurts, together we must do everything we can to contain the virus. Take care of yourself and each other!

As concerns regarding the coronavirus continues to grow, we understand you are forced to rethink plans and make changes.

For guests who have a direct room reservation via www.corendonhotels.com, please contact the hotel, so we can assist you and help you find the right solution. If your travel plans are impacted by the coronavirus (Covid-19), you keep the amount that you paid to us as a credit (“voucher”) for your next holiday. This voucher applies to Corendon City Hotel and Corendon Village Hotel if your stay was planned on or before April 28th. Did you book your holidays to Livingstone Jan Thiel Beach Resort?
