Supervisor Front Office
I’d been following Corendon Hotels & Resorts closely before I applied to work there. I really wanted to be involved in the opening of the Corendon City Hotel Amsterdam. Partly because of my Front Office experience combined with my curiosity and enthusiasm for hospitality, I’m now a Front Office Host.
The different kinds of people and cultures which I work with every day, that’s what makes it special. I get a feeling of satisfaction helping guests and telling them where the best places are in beautiful Amsterdam. After the construction, I ended up in a great Front Office team and we work closely every day with each other. I am very happy [to work] with these terrific colleagues and I enjoy working in this beautiful hotel.
Front of House department
Just meeting our guests’ expectations is not enough for this department. The Front of House team surpasses the expectations of our guests in a scintillating way by creating unique personal experiences. From the moment that the guest enters our hotels, the Front of House team makes everyone feel welcome and that they have ‘come home’. Hospitality is in all the team members’ DNA and it is combined with professionalism, expertise and open communication. The Front of House is also the linchpin for the internal organisation.
