What began as a final internship in September 2014 at the first Corendon City Hotel Amsterdam that had still to open then, ended in May 2015 with an appointment as Guest Relations Officer. As Guest Relations Officer, I focus mainly on the improvement of our services, so that our guests are always pleasantly surprised by what we have to offer.

Because every guest has different expectations, the work has a lot of variety and challenge. It also gives me the opportunity to work with colleagues from every department, so that I’m continually occupied with the development of my knowledge and skills. In my spare time, I enjoy a relaxing evening with friends when a bite to eat and a drink are indispensable: work hard, play hard.

General Management department

Corendon Hotels & Resorts’ eyes and ears. The General Management Department is a team of managerial doers, from guest relations to department meetings. They monitor, control and innovate the work flows in the hotel. Every day, they motivate colleagues, provide the communicative link between different departments and they are the face of the hotel to our guests.
