Corendon Hotels & Resorts is a young, fast-growing hotel chain with hotels in the Netherlands and resorts in Ibiza and Curacao. In Amsterdam Nieuw-West we have been running the 4-star City Hotel since 2015 with 263 stylishly furnished rooms, 1,000m² of Vitality Spa and a 737 Cockpit Suite with the cockpit of a real Boeing 737. The College Hotel is located in the heart of Amsterdam; a boutique hotel in which we provide hospitality training together with the ROC of Amsterdam. The Village Hotel – the largest hotel in the Benelux – opened its doors in the spring of 2018 in Badhoevedorp. Three separate wings together have more than 680 rooms and several restaurants, bars, spa facilities, fitness, a swimming pool, a cinema and meeting rooms. Ibiza has our All Inclusive Resort Marble Stella Maris and on Curaçao we operate the Livingstone Jan Thiel Resort. Your position & working environment
As a Reservation Agent you are responsible for booking the individual reservations while keeping an eye on the best possible result. You provide information to (potential) guests and clients in a customer-friendly and promotional manner, you inform them about availability, you prepare quotes independently and you process booking data. You check made bookings, you communicate about reservation agreements with colleagues from other departments and you are responsible for the various domestic and foreign mailboxes and the telephone. As a team you are responsible for optimizing our sales and profit. You are part of the Service Center of Corendon Hotels & Resorts that is located in our City hotel. The Reservations team also processes all reservations from the other Corendon hotels: the Corendon Village Hotel Amsterdam and Marble Stella Maris Ibiza. You report to the Service Center Manager in this position.

What do we expect from you?
- Experience within Reservations Agent is an advantage;
- You are in possession of a HBO education in Hotel Management or Tourism;
- You are service-oriented, hospitable and socially oriented;
- You are driven and have creative ideas;
- You can work independently and in a team, also under pressure;
- You are fluent in Dutch and English (oral and written);

Open communication, adaptability, and dazzling service are pivotal in the Reservations Department. Our team is the link between various internal departments and the guest. Seeing so-called problems as opportunities is what the team is all about. They see every telephone conversation and e-mail as a potential reservation. As well as dealing with the, largely initial, contact with guests, the department also deals with bookings and their management and control.
