A key moment in this partnership took place on Sunday, 25 January 2026, when a convoy of Dutch vocational (MBO) students departed from Corendon Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, officially launching their journey to West Africa.

The departure marked the start of an impressive three-week drive across Europe and the Sahara, with students traveling in sponsored vehicles toward Mauritania, Senegal, and Gambia. This journey symbolizes commitment, collaboration, and the exchange of knowledge across borders.

Upon arrival, participants stay in the region for approximately two months, working closely with local schools and students to improve workshops, share practical skills, and strengthen vocational education programs. The initiative focuses on sustainable educational development and long-term cooperation between educational institutions and communities.
