MeerBusiness Haringparty powered by Corendon Hotels & Resorts 2025: Networking beneath the Boeing 747
On Wednesday, June 11, the annual MeerBusiness Haringparty powered by Corendon Hotels & Resorts took place at a truly unique location: beneath the iconic Boeing 747 at Corendon Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel. The Haringparty brought together entrepreneurs and businesses from the region for an inspiring day filled with connection, flavor, and impact.
The day kicked off in the Mondi Skybar with an inspiring session featuring, among others, Gunay Uslu and political commentator Raymond Mens. Their stories set the tone for a sunny, energetic day.
The Mayor of Haarlemmermeer, Marianne Schuurmans-Wijdeven, officially opened the Haringparty with a motivating speech beneath the Boeing 747. Her words emphasized the importance of events like these for the economic and social strength of the region.
Throughout the day, guests enjoyed culinary delights from various food trucks, live entertainment, and of course, the traditional Dutch herring. Networking was at the heart of the event, in an informal atmosphere where new connections were made, and existing relationships strengthened.
A special highlight of the day was the charity auction. The auction raised an impressive €12,610. The proceeds will be used for planting trees at Landgoed de Olmenhorst. The apples harvested from these trees will go entirely to the Voedselbank Haarlemmermeer (local food bank), which supports 400 households each week.
The event was a resounding success thanks to the commitment and involvement of all partners, sponsors, and guests. Corendon Hotels & Resorts and MeerBusiness Haarlemmermeer & Schiphol would like to sincerely thank everyone who contributed to the success of this edition, and we look forward to welcoming you again next year.
