Corendon Hotels & Resorts aims to work towards a climate-friendly and future-proof operation in the long term, where sustainability is an integral part of all operational decisions.

To achieve this overarching goal, we are starting with a number of concrete initial steps. These steps help us establish a solid foundation, gain insight into our environmental impact, and structurally integrate sustainable practices into our daily hotel operations.

• CO2 insight
  Conducting CO2 measurements at each location to gain a clear picture of current emissions and areas for improvement.

• Achieving or renewing Green Key Certification
  Obtaining Green Key certification for all hotels as proof of our commitment to environmentally responsible business practices.

• More sustainable building standards
  Designing and constructing all new hotels according to internationally recognized sustainability standards, such as LEED or BREEAM.

• Generating renewable energy
  Installing solar panels at selected locations to generate our own energy, thereby reducing our reliance on the grid and lowering our scope 2 emissions.

• Promoting biodiversity through native planting
  Designing gardens and outdoor spaces with native plant species to reduce irrigation needs, support local biodiversity, and stimulate CO2 capture through vegetation.
