Koolhovens keuze in Corendon Cinema Badhoevedorp

On May 17th, the next edition of Koolhoven’s Choice will take place at Corendon Cinema in Badhoevedorp. The renowned Dutch director Martin Koolhoven will take visitors on a journey into the world of his favorite films. This time, he will delve deeper into “Intolerable Cruelty,” the well-known crime-comedy by Joel and Ethan Coen, starring Catherine Zeta-Jones and George Clooney.

Koolhoven’s Choice is a film theater program presented live at Corendon Cinema four times a year by Martin Koolhoven. Each presentation revolves around its own theme, focusing on selected film excerpts and choices. The evening schedule is as follows:

7:30 PM Start of Film Lecture

8:30 PM Intermission

8:45 PM Main Feature Film

During the first hour, Martin will explore the evening’s theme through selected film excerpts. After the intermission, the main feature film will be screened, in line with the evening’s theme. Previous themes of the film lecture series have included Steven Spielberg, Clint Eastwood, Mexican Border, James Bond, Hitmen, and Superheroes. In the fall, the themes of Hitchcock and Kubrick are on the agenda.
