On Wednesday, June 5th, the MeerBusiness Herring Party powered by Corendon took place under the Boeing 747 at Corendon Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel. The event featured a packed schedule with stands, food trucks, an auction, entertainment and of course plenty of delicious herring.

Some highlights of the Herring Party

The festivities kicked off with Gunay Uslu’s captivating session, where her fun herring quiz set the tone for a delightful day. Jurgen Nobel followed by highlighting the anniversary of MeerBusiness, Schiphol, and doing business in the Haarlemmermeer, setting the stage for an inspiring event. The mayor of Haarlemmermeer, Marianne Schuurmans-Wijdeven, delivered a motivational speech and officially opened the Herring Party.

Dennis Warmerdam moved us all with his impressive story. Robert Bannink and notary Suzanne Kwantes led the auction flawlessly, and Lisanne de Roever guided the day with enthusiasm.

In addition to the delicious herring, a substantial amount was raised during the auction for these two fantastic charities: Vrienden Spaarne Gasthuis and Stichting Voedselbank Haarlemmermeer.
