On October 1^st 2017, Run for Kika Amsterdam was organized in the beautiful Amsterdam forest. Every runner of this event raised money for Foundation KiKa. Foundation KiKa is committed to research into childhood cancer to increase the cure rate. Right now about 75% of the children are cured, which of course is still too low. That is why no less than fourteen colleagues have worked as Corendon Team to raise as much money as possible for KiKa. The participation was a great success, because we have raised the highest corporate sponsor amount for Run for Kika Amsterdam!

A daily report
Corendon Team raised the highest amount for the Run for KiKa Amsterdam, so the entire team was put in the limelight. On stage they received a check. At eleven o’clock, eleven colleagues started the the ten-kilometer run and fifteen minutes later three colleagues started the five kilometers one. All Corendon participants have collected more than €750 per person and therefore were all Gold Runners.

In total we have collected € 11.620, – (with the help of colleagues, friends and family of course). Thanks to the Corendon Foundation, we donated a total amount of € 23,240 to Foundation KiKa.

Every year we join a sports event to raise money for a good cause. In 2018, we will participate in the Amsterdam City Swim on September 9^th. With 36 colleagues we will swim two kilometers through the canals of Amsterdam to raise as much money as possible for Foundation ALS.
